Training Courses at 33rd ISB

Training Courses at 33rd ISB

The Education Committee (EC) considers the continuing education of our members to be an important benefit of membership in the International Ballistics Society (IBS) and it is our goal to develop offerings that meet member needs. That is why our tutorial courses were and will remain an integral part of each International Symposium on Ballistics. Based on calls in 2022, we received broad interests and various course proposals by world-known experts in their respective fields. The Education Committee had to make hard decisions for providing a well-balanced set of introductory courses.
So, we happily announce offering the following five short courses at the upcoming 33rd ISB in Bruges, Belgium on Monday, October 16th, 2023:

AM sessions (9 am to 1 pm)
MT101: Shock Physics: Dynamic Behavior of Materials by Dr. John Borg, from Marquette University, USA

EB101: Exterior Ballistics by Pierre Wey, from ISL, FR
