34th International Symposium on Ballistics (ISB) - Registration now open

This symposium is co-chaired by Don Carlucci and Casey Uhlig and will take place at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, Florida, USA, during May 19-23, 2025. The deadline for submissions for the Jack Riegel Student Awards has been postponed to 22 December 2024. The IBS website is now open for the submission of abstracts in the following areas: Interior Ballistics, Exterior Ballistics, Launch Dynamics, Vulnerability & Survivability, Terminal Ballistics, Explosion Mechanics, Hypersonics, Applications of AI in Ballistics, Emerging Technologies & Drones. 35th International Symposium on Ballistics

The IBS is pleased to announce the 35th ISB will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, during 18-23 October 2026. Set those dates in your diaries now! The symposium chair will be Thanyani Pandelani with co-chair Tleyane Sono. Congratulations to them and to the South African Ballistics Organisation (SABO) which submitted an excellent proposal.
